About the festival: Refugee Food Festival ✱ Amsterdam ✱ 2018

Local restaurants in Amsterdam open their kitchen to refugee chefs for unique culinary experiences. For dinners or lunches, the guest chefs will prepare the very best of their country of origin.

The Refugee Food Festival is a citizens’ initiative created by the Food Sweet Food association and co-organized with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

AN INTERNATIONAL EVENT
On the occasion of World Refugee Day commemorated on 20 June, 14 cities in the world are joining forces: Amsterdam, Athens, Bologna, Bordeaux, Brussels, Cape Town, Lille, Lyon, Madrid, Marseille, New York, Paris, San Francisco, and Strasbourg.
