HARMEN FRAANJE
According to the internationally acclaimed website AllAboutJazz “Harmen Fraanje is emerging as one of the most impressive young European pianists of the past decade.” He grew up being influenced by classical music, jazz and improvised music and has recently been fascinated by traditional music from anywhere around the world.

GUUS JANSSEN
The music of pianist and composer Guus Janssen ranges from composed improvisation to improvised composition. As a pianist and harpsichordist he performed in various groupings with musicians from John Zorn to Gidon Kremer. Since the early 1980’s he has led his own ensembles, ranging from pianotrios to 11 piece band and opera orchestra. As a soloist, playing mainly his own compositions and improvisations, he has appeared at a lot of international festivals. In addition he has performed with many of the leading Dutch ensembles and orchestras.

MARTA WARELIS
Pianist, born and raised in Poland. Since 2010 jazz and improvised music is her main interest. She moved to Amsterdam in 2014 where she continued her musical development in free improvisation and experimental jazz, becoming an active member of local improvised scene. Her personal style oscillates between lyricism and explosiveness, is an interplay of moods and textures. Trying to construct and deconstruct in constant search for new sounds and ways of instant composing. She’s been performing with variety of musicians from all over Europe, recently with main focus on groups like a duo with saxophonist Ada Rave, a trio with Wilbert de Joode and Onno Govaert, string formation Strings5 and septet Xavier Pamploona.
