WILD MAN CONSPIRACY – RADIO DAYS FEAT MICHAEL MOORE & JOOST BUIS

Wild Man Conspiracy treks through the jungle of free music – wild untraceable free improvisations reach out to superhuman efforts. Tempi that break out, individual rambles, unruly treatment for instruments; these elements are keystones to a musical undertaking that can scarcely be compared with anything already done in this field. Jazznu.com (NL) / Rinus van der Heijden (April 2015 )

Their newest project presents music from the RADIO DAYS, and features Michael Moore and Joost Buis, two of the most influential improvisers in the Dutch and international jazz scenes. Their surprising repertoire comes from the beginning of the history of jazz, and was inspired by 19th century spirituals, and early New Orleans jazz and swing, made famous by musicians such as Kid Ory, Louis Armstrong, and Fats Waller. Blues-injected solos, and adventurous collective improvisation come into their own, and shine a new light on the New Orleans tradition. Dixieland in a way you’ve never heard before. RADIO DAYS will have you singing along, bouncing out of your chair and dancing in the street!

RYOSUKE KIYASU
In 1995, Ryosuke Kiyasu started his career as a drummer and experienced live performances in various bands. In 2003 he moved to Toronto, Canada in order to gain experience as a drummer and began to play solo snare drum.

From 2004 after returning to Japan, he started own punk band SETE STAR SEPT and free jazz band KIYASU ORCHESTRA, and has released numerous works and has performed various tours to countries around the world. As a solo snare drummer, the countries that have performed in the past span the United States, Europe, Canada, SE Asia, Australia, Korea, China, Mongolia and Russia.

TEAM ORKESTERRA
Team Orkesterra is many different things. Actually they’re still not exactly sure what they are themselves. Is it a band or an orchestra? A collective, maybe? Are they a team or just a bunch of individualists? Generation X or Millenials? Team Orkesterra is new, that’s for sure. It’s fresh and exciting, or using more colloquial terms suitable to 2019: woke and lit a.f.

It started with a vague idea by Jarno van Es in 2003. The band officially got together for the first time in December 2011. Only three rehearsals in a timeframe of 8 years later, they finally decided it’s time to face the outside world. This performance will be an experiment. A try-out. A random occasion. An immersive experience. But most of all: a lot of people having fun together. It will be like a little kid, trying to walk for the very first time. Endeering, cute, funny, hilarious at moments and awkward at others, breathtaking and dangerous while making you wonder about the circle of life and the unending beauty of it all.

They play different styles of music, taking inspiration from all over the world. Carribean dancehall, baile funk from Brasil, Dutch EDM and free jazz at the same time (both drug induced), a touch of Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia, Scandinavian minimalists, influencers like Marie Kondo, Huda Kattan, Yotam Ottolenghi and of course Hulk Hogan.
