The Few brings together three of the most dynamic string players from the latest generation of Chicago’s storied improvised music community forming an improvising, acoustic trio that seamlessly blends their wide ranging influences into a singular whole.

Tonight they will play one set on their own and one set with renowned Dutch improv couple Ig Henneman and Ab Baars.

LUC EX / HANNAH MARSHALL
Special duo set by sought-after British cellist Hannah Marshall and bass player Luc Ex. Both play in Sol6 – improvised chamber music with the energy of a punk band – but now they scale it down for an intimate improvisation.
