O YUKI CONJUGATE (UK)

Formed in Nottingham in 1982 on the wave of post-industrial music that emerged out of Post Punk, OYC are now in their 35th year and 4th incarnation, based around core members Andrew Hulme and Roger Horberry. OYC forged their own path away from their early industrial and electronic influences to incorporate the then-unfashionable ambient music into their own sound.

QUEST [Frans De Waard] (NL)
Quest exists since the mid 90s as an ambient house sort of project by Frans de Waard. The project has been hibernating from 2001 to 2014 but since then has been in full swing again. There has been the rhythmic side (as QST) and the more ambient (Quest). Following a CD release as Quest for Where Ambient Lives and QST by Static Caravan, it is now time to take matters on the road. Frans de Waard (1965) has been producing music since 1984 (Kapotte Muziek, Beequeen, Goem, Zebra, Freiband, Shifts, Modelbau, etc.). He has worked for the pioneering Dutch tape label Staalplaat (1992-2003) and since 1986 as a reviewer for his own publication Vital (now Vital Weekly), a magazine which has been an online source for underground music since 1995, and which celebrated its 1000th issue in 2015.
In 2016 Timeless published in France his first book, an autobiography of life in Staalplaat titled This Is Supposed To Be A Record Label.
