Space is the Place: Cactus Truck invites Luke Stewart, Trevor Dunn & Dirar Kalash

Monday, October 29, music starts 21:00, entrance €10

An extra special SPACE IS THE PLACE night. The musicians below will play in small groups, and playing as a sextet.

It’s not every day that three incredible musicians from different backgrounds are visiting town by chance on the same date, with a day off, and wanting to share their musical abilities with us! Cactus Truck is extremely pleased to invite multi instrumentalist Dirar Kalash (with whom they toured Palestine last June, see this link for a photo report made by Sara Anke Morris: https://www.doek.org/cactus-truck-in-palestine-with-dirar-kalash-photo-series-by-sara-anke/). The Cactus boys have run into bassist Luke Stewart (Washington D.C.) a whole bunch since a couple years at festivals and venues in both Europe and North America, and makes a whole lot of sense to finally play with him.
Trevor Dunn (New York) is actually from the same region in California as (ex-)Amsterdammers Michael Moore and Michael Vatcher, and plays bass in a tremendously varied palette of bands and projects. He probably doesn’t need further introduction.
Cactus Truck is grateful to De Ruimte and SPACE IS THE PLACE for hosting this event on such a short notice!!!
