ERNST GLERUM solo
The bass player of the world famous Instant Composer Pool Orchestra is one of the most inventive, multi-faceted jazz musicians in the Netherlands (and beyond). Both in his compositions and his performances he creates breathing space and perspective. He is a headstrong and wayward bass player, as well as a skilled pianist, as he showed in his own band Glerum Omnibus. In De Ruimte he will also play both piano and bass.

Ernst Glerum: Double bass and piano

POKER (Van Es/Taubenfeld/Dirksen/Jäger)
Currently living in Amsterdam, Jarno van Es originates from the province of Zeeland. He is a very versatile and creative musician, navigating between pop, jazz, classical music and improvisiation. For his project Piano Pilgrim he records himself playing on as many different pianos as he can on his journeys abroad.

Poker is his quartet with outstanding musicians from both the classical and the improvisation scene

Jarno van Es: Piano / synthesizer
Ziv Taubenfeld: Bass clarinet
Rob Dirksen: Bass
Gerri Jäger: Drums
