AKIYAMA/DI DOMENICO/GOVAERT/STADHOUDERS
Tetuzi Akiyama and Giovanni di Domenico are touring Europe this september. Giovanni is an Italian, lives in Brussels and has been traveled Japan, where he met Tetuzi. In this European tour, the duo becomes a quaertet with Tilburgian Amsterdammers Onno Govaert (drums) and Jasper Stadhouders (bass). Although Giovanni, Onno and Jasper are good friends thanks to the European improvisation music scene, the first time they played together was in Tokyo, about seven years ago. Both Jasper and Onno will meet Tetuzi for the first time. Promising!
