O.BA.O Trio has been existing on and off for 40 years. Labeled ‘second generation free jazz musicians’ by journalist Rudy Koopmans, they have played with numerous guest musicians over the years, including Kees Smit, Maarten van Norden, Willem van Manen, Hans Dulfer, Ab Baars, Keshavan Maslak, Elton Dean (Soft Machine !), Keith Tippett and Nils Landgren. This Sunday afternoon they will play incorporate some fresh blood with the addition of saxophone player Yedo Gibson.
