French singer and clarinet player Isabelle Duthoit is equally at home in contemporary classical music, jazz and improvisation. Tonight, she performs a duo set with inimitable pioneer of Dutch freejazz Ab Baars.

Spoon3 is Jodi Gilbert (voice), Albert van Veenendaal (piano), & Robert van Heumen (laptop-instrument), frequently (but not tonight) joined by Meinrad Kneer (bass). In many aspects a band that crosses over many styles. The classic trio combination of piano, bass and voice forms a basis for transparency and beauty. The laptop-instrument adds a mix of confrontation and adventure to subvert this well-known trio constellation. All of this mixed with the sensibilities of free improvisation.
