Mark Haanstra / Oene van Geel is farm-fresh duo, but with a long history. Mark and Oene have been playing almost 20 years together in all kinds of groups such as Mosaic, Bhedam and Oxymore quintet. After a period where they were both busy with various formations they worked together again on the Boy Edgar Prize ceremony of Oene in 2013. That felt like musical coming home and both men were eager to get back together for new musical adventures. Expect explosive Balkan rock to beautiful intimate songs. Always with a lot of improvisation and an equal role for both musicians, they challenge themselves to push boundaries of their musical abilities, but they mainly go for the thrill of tight interplay and musical fun.

TOMMY MOUSTACHE
Besides the dry humor around the person of Tommy Moustache, the four moustaches and some funny song titles, most of all this Rotterdam based quartet makes convincing music with a pop attitude. Maybe nifty is the right word to describe Tommy Moustache: smart and witty at the same time. Concerts feel like a rollercoaster between rock, funk, jazz and lots of side genres, but together feel as one strong coherent story. One thing IS for sure: these four young guys know how to entertain their audience.
