Saskia Meijs is active in several cultural areas. In addition to her wide-ranging projects as a viola player, she is artistic director of the Concertgemaal and works as a program maker and moderator at Theater de Roode Bioscoop.
Since 2008 she has formed the group Barockpuppies together with visual artist/videographer Martijn Grootendorst. Together they create and organize performances based on image (video) and music (viola) around a theme – in collaboration with artists from different disciplines; musicians, poets, actors, philosophers and dancers.
