This trio came to life at the invitation of the Konfrontationen Festival in 2018. The three members are working together in several groups (Ab Baars’ Fish Scale Sunrise,
Draksler/Ex, Baars/Ex, Kaja Draksler Octet) and this is now their second concert as a trio!!

HARMEN FRAANJE SOLO
Harmen Fraanje is a pianist, composer and educator from the Netherlands. He leads and co-leads several projects like his solo project, trio Reijseger/Fraanje/Sylla, a quartet with Magic Malik, Brice Soniano and Toma Gouband, and a duo with Dutch guitarist Anton Goudsmit. These groups mostly perform original works with a lot of space for improvisation. As a pianist he is a virtuoso and as challenging as he is modest.
