Chez John Ethiopique, chez l’Espace

Saturday, April 11, 20h, € 19,50 for a four-course dinner, we ask donnations for the musicians

Amsterdam based catering company John Pastinaak (Parsnip) regularly organises Chez John-dinners on different locations, with a different them each. We are glad to be the host for the next Chez John, when John embraces Ethiopia. Don’t expect a dinner with injera’s (those typical sourdough pancakes), but rather a parsnip on a tour through Addis Abeba. Never seen before! መልካም ምግብ!

And it will not just be a culinary experience. During and after dinner Flashy T from Amsterdam will play funk records, in the dead of the night DJ Diego Armando from Barcelona will spin records from all over Africa. We’re counting on all our guests to help us quickly get the tables out after dinner.

But there’s more! Around midnight musicians and dancers from the legendary music and dance club Fendika (in Addis Abeba) will come over from TolhuisTuin to De Ruimte for an afterparty. There will be sweating, munching, dancing and drinking!

John serves a four-course dinner for € 19,50 at 20h. Send an e-mail to info@johnpastinaak.nl to make a reservation and mention the number of eaters and vegetarians. You’ll get a confirmation.
