CZAJKA & PUCHACZ
Czajka & Puchacz (Lapwing & Eagle Owl) is a Copenhagen-based duo of Slovenian pianist Kaja Draksler and Polish drummer Szymon Gąsiorek. In their semi-composed pieces, they work with space,
silence, sparkling textures planted into a rhythmic gravitation, careful distribution of melodic comfort and amount of information. Their musical language is enriched by audio tape samples deriving from
Polish and Slovenian fairy tales. Acoustic musique concrète and European free improvisation meet the melodies of disco polo, rock riffs and drilling of woodpeckers.

WARELIS/ARPINI
Duo Warelis/Arpini is a largely improvisational vehicle for piano, voice and electronics. Combining elements of noise, singsong-like melodies, pulsing chants, and minimalistic states, they’ve possessed
an ability to create a rich soundscape eliciting images of under-water or outer-space. Representing diversity from folkloric simplicity to wildly unpredictable experimentation, this pair takes you for a
journey where everything is possible.

NACHTNETGAT
Julie Kurris created a theatrical improvisation group, with elements of fixed compositions. The shape of the band is open – guest players are welcome. Time is flexible.

Nachtnetgat (eng. Nightweb-gap) is the moment of time/space suspense, when all you can do is to wait – the emptiness – which we will fill for you!

The idea is simple: we come together to play. Not doing is also playing. The reason for this come-together was the celebration of the time gap, as an invitation into multi-cultural, interdisciplinary journey. Where anything and nothing can happen.
