BEACON
An electromagnetic object
Without being really aware, the ether is full of radiomagnetic waves. Wifi, mobile telecommunication, GPS and distant comets float through the space around us. With BEACON, Sjoerd Leijten and Olle Kruijt explore this hidden dimension. The beacon receives, interprets, unifies and transmits an ongoing generative audio composition.
This installation can be heard in the garden of the Ruimte for the next two months.
