SHAKÈD + DRAGU

Unorthodox, unpredictable, unpolished. These are only a few words that insiders use to define DJ Shakèds music. The man has been spending the last decade learning drum techniques and sounddesign essentials. As no other, he knew that he needed to learn the rules in order to break them. The result: Shakèd (sjaa·ked). A name that stands for harmony between drifting house and obscure techno.

Dragu is a rhythm essentialist. Co-founder of vinyl market and club event What’Sub. Exploring the solid mix between minimal house, UK garage and tribal drums.

SERENA
Amsterdam-based artist Serena shapes morphing atmospheres consisting of a bold and unexpected fusion of aggressive noise with atmospheric musical elements, dubby loops, distorted guitars and harsh vocals. Serena, Tbilisi’s Mutant Radio collaborator under the name of ANGHA, member of Garage Noord, and founder of SUBURBIA, dives into the past to recall old traditions and its ghosts of a lost time to create new non-linear narratives.

BAHER
DJ BAHER focuses on modern techno music, exploring mixed-frequencies and multi-layered polyrhythms.

PAROAH
Paroah is the moniker of Amsterdam based sound and visual enthusiast Vicky de Visser. When selecting tunes, she is known for heating up the dance floor with curveball after curveball, like a top level game of defensive, high rpm table tennis. That is, if the ball was your brain, and the expertly controlled, spin-imparting bats were unrelentingly fresh waves of acid, gabber, and other friendly yoga terrorism genres.

EKHE
Ekhe dismantles bass music and reassembles it in a new and cunning way. While based in London, the producer’s influences extend to the Middle East and beyond, drawing on diverse and intricate rhythmic traditions to enhance his unique polyrhythmic style.

GROPINA
Living in the city of Amsterdam Gròpina is one of the figures behind Paesaggi Records – a label that focuses mainly on trying to bring to reality adventurous, evocative, and spaced-out records and tapes. Currently, he spends his time working at Rush Hour Records and making music in his studio in Amsterdam. Every so often you can catch him playing records in second rooms, in bars, and on independent web radios.

WILCO PRINSEN
With his modular synthesizers, Wilco Prinsen builds the fullest and most organically layered beats you have ever danced to. Expect wild hair and worn-out All Stars behind a wall of buttons, cords, keys and lights.

PHONAUTOGRAM
Phonautogram is the DJ alias of Ron Ruiten. He plays a wide scope of music, ranging from Ethiopian music to jazz to pop & everything in between and beyond.
